Specialized cutting equipment

Equipment for removal of sprues, dams , risers, flow-offs, and gates following casting by cutting with a toothed saw. High-speed cutting technology developed by Shiga Yamashita is employed to realize hitherto unknown cutting performance. The equipment provides for recovery and separation of filings produced by the cutting process, and is able to accommodate a wide variety of castings.

High-speed vibration casting sand removal equipment

Equipment used to break up and remove core molds from aluminum castings using high-speed vibrating action. Surpasses the concept of the conventional knock-out sand removal equipment.

Features
A completely new type of washer employing an overhead conveyor.
Configured for washing and draining in separate tanks.
The need for conventional targeted washing is eliminated by the effective switching between jet washing, direct impingement washing, and rapid drainage, thereby enabling use with a wide range of work-pieces.
Shiga Yamashita is able to provide the optimum washing system through a combination of models, time cycles, and washing accuracy.

Option specification
This innovative unit performs locally targeted washing and blowing within a preset cycle time by inserting a numerically controlled nozzle in crucial processed holes.

Effect of the combination of Spurt-Flow Wash and Quick Drain achieved high quality washing results only by Flexible Type washing nozzle which attain large flow-rate with low pressure. This large size bore nozzle also solved clogging problem which used be one of the biggest issue.
This gate locates at the bottom of washing station in order to discharge dirty fluid very quickly to the bottom tank. This gate operates (open/close) during washing cycle, and quick draining prevent foreign objects from sticking onto the work again. Dirty fluid discharged to the bottom tank will be transferred to Rotary Filtration unit.
Flexible Type Jig moves and rotates very quickly and accurately by servo-motor driving unit. Optimum position, movement speed and waving motion can be set easily by teaching operation.

The biggest advantage of our Air-blowing system is to utilize Blower Fan which produces powerful air current together with pin point compressed air blow nozzle. Air current blows off the water removed by compressed air nozzle. Comparing with conventional blowing system only with compressed air nozzle, our system achieved much higher draining effect. Employing air circulation system by Blower Fan, lower noise, lower running cost with less air consumption have been achieved.
